As the sands of time swiftly pass, I am looking back on the eighteen years that have brought the QICC to this moment. On behalf of the conference organizing committee, I cordially invite you to join us for the QICC 2024, the eighteenth Qianjiang Cardiovascular Conference.

Taking steadfast strides, we have marched on for eighteen years with the tide of our times.

The eighteen years has been marked by unswerving exploration and dedication, bearing fruitful outcomes. Having matured from our infancy, QICC has borne witness to the rapid advancement of cardiovascular medicine and a testament to the tireless effort and the selfless contribution of our peers. With the turning tides of development, QICC has left its enduring marks, carved in time.

Building on the unreserved support of colleagues both domestically and internationally and buttressed by the incessant efforts of all cardiovascular professionals in Zhejiang province, QICC has continuously embraced self-renewal, and ascended into a highly influential academic platform nationally and on the global stage.

Embarking on a bright new chapter, we will harness the pioneering spirit and press forward in our march ahead.

QICC stays true to its core values – Quality, Innovation, Collaboration and Cultivation, integrating them with the spirit of the Qiantang River, characterized by being ‘Practical, Pioneering and Prominent’. Every year, QICC brings to the stage the cutting-edge domestic and global academic developments, extending a broad invitation to experts and scholars from around the world, fully showcasing the innovative achievements in cardiovascular medicine.

This year, QICC will stay true to its local heritage, engage with peers from around China, and maintain a global perspective. QICC will join hands with global academic organizations such as ACC to further expand its academic horizon and ignite the innovative thinking, and forge a wider stage for international academic exchange.

For eighteen years, QICC never ceased its effort to achieve excellence, finally celebrating its ‘coming-of-age’ moment. It is not only a moment of commemoration but also a new beginning. Going forward, the conference will continue to draw upon the strong academic heritage of Zhejiang province and steep in the Qiandang River spirit of ‘inclusiveness and integration’. We strive to build an academic platform for cardiovascular exchange daring of innovation, vibrant with energy and showcases impressive expertise. Together, we will push the envelop of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment.
